A dance-theater piece for three humans.
Simulacra (n.): A copy without an original.
Skin (n.): The living boundary separating the inside from the outside.
In this artistic research, dancers are embodying generative AI videos and their misinterpretations of how the human body moves.

Lyri and her team focus on the metabolism of machine-learning image generation: when an AI creates an image, it begins in pure noise—random pixels—and gradually searches for meaning, until a single coherent image emerges.
Inspired by this process, the performers constantly move between chaos and order, between the statistic and the specific, between the recognizable and the almost-known. They are (continuously) breaking apart and reassembling their limbs and their voices in space.
Although you might sometimes wish to believe otherwise, at the end of the day –
You are your body.
You began, and one day, you will also end.
Meanwhile, you are subject to both the force of gravity and attraction.
You have a craving for someone to squeeze your head and a tingling between your fingertips.

You have a craving for someone to squeeze your head and a tingling between your fingertips.
Looking through the lens that is looking at you, you hope to learn something new about yourself. In the hall of mirrors, you can meet unfamiliar reflections. You desperately want to know what it means to be human through the non-existent eyes of the machine. Bringing together the embodied collective consciousness, with the one you call the Internet. Swimming against entropy and finding meaning in the static noise and constant friction that is your life.
